As you know, 43.185 works from 172 countries have entered the International Flash Fiction Competition, which makes it the contest with the most entries in the world.
As it would be expected, with so many entries entering and the quality of the works, the Jury is still pending in announcing the results, with the evaluation of the stories submitted in Arab language remaining. This year's entries have surpassed the 5.000 stories, which it makes it the contest with the highest number of participants in this language category.
The Jury is working to be able to publish the results in the following weeks and the prize will be given on the 23rd of November, coinciding with the International Day of Words as a Bond of Humankind, this date, the day on which the Museum of Words, heritage of the César Egido Serrano Foundation, was inaugurated.
At the same time, we have also initiated a campaign through Change.org, because we feel that the idea, for what the Foundation stands, that is to make use of words and dialogue to connect peoples of different backgrounds, cultures and religions, has been devaluated.
