I am convinced that the twenty-first Century will be the one of understanding. The word should be the link of humanity and the only way to solve conflicts must be the dialogue. It is the duty of today’s generation to ensure the security of generations to come.
But we must make resources available for the coming years: Intellectual, economic resources but also energy and enthusiasm.

On the occasion of the anniversary of the creation of the Museum of the Word, we have determined the 23 November as the International Day of the Word as a Bond of Humankind (motto of the Museum of the word), which as you know, is set on the first route of Don Quixote and in the province of Toledo.
We want to inspire you to do any initiative in your city during that day. For example: To convene in one place at certain time people who also feel the need of using the word against violence, which is also useful, for the coexistence of different cultures and religions. Upload a picture, video, comment on our space on facebook or simply have a meeting with friends. In this way, you will be Ambassador of the Word in your city. That day more than ever, the Word will be the Bond of Humankind.

The Museum of the word (Quero, Toledo) is structured as the main tool of the César Egido Serrano Foundation. The Museum of the Word is responsible for carrying out initiatives, ideas, moral values and Foundation aims. The Foundation and the Museum are exclusively financed by contributions received from its founder patron: César Egido Serrano. Therefore neither the Foundation nor the Museum receives or applies for grants from public or private bodies. |
