89 Countries around the world and 14253 writers in the II International Flash Fiction Competition Museum of the Word

Guinness is considering to include it in his famous book of records

Yesterday was the deadline for registration in the II Edition of the Museum of the Word Flash Fiction Competition, with 100 words maximun. 89 countries of five continents and 14253 writers have participated. Guinness is considering to include it in his famous book of records.

The César Egido Serrano Foundation, owner of the Museum of the Word,a XVIII century palace located on the first route of Don Quixote, in the province of Toledo, performs these initiatives to put in value the word to all violence and as a tool for the coexistence of different cultures and religions. In fact, the Flash Fictions could be submited in Spanish, English, Arabic and Hebrew. And, in view of the participants, many countries and writers who share the philosophy of the Foundation and the Museum of the Word. As we mentioned, "14.253 writers from 89 countries form a small army, perhaps more numerous than soldiers has the United Nations in the Lebanon". We will inform you about the results of the contest as the jury finnishes reviewing all the copies. Thank you very much for your participation and support.
